There’s a very basic truth that most people want their lives to be more exciting than they are. It’s why people tell fish tales and exaggerate the details. Is why some people claim to have been in the twin towers on 9/11 when they were actually no where near. It’s why NBC reporters lie about being in combat. The modern person has watched so many movies and TV shows that depict something happening outside of normal life that the seed has been planted in their head that if something exciting doesn’t happen to them, then they don’t get to be a part of the show and no one will care about them.

As the article says, the “pandemic” is the most interesting thing that’s ever happen to a ton of people who would otherwise just be sitting on the couch eating Taco Bell and binge watching porn. Now, by doing that, they think they’re a hero. Let the dead bury the dead.

That last bit is a really salient point. People get to be heroes by literally doing nothing. "Save lives, stay home" is the new retarded mantra of people who really weren't doing all that much with their lives anyway. And it wouldn't bother me all that much except they want *me* to stay confined at home as well.

Marty, it's also that there are a lot of pearl-clutching hypochondriacs that see this as the culmination of everything they've set up their lives around to avoid. To these people, their neuroses have finally been vindicated.

It also normalizes what was already a very anti-social lifestyle for many people.

It's the equivalent of telling folks on this board that they'd have to train or get fined.

I live about 200 miles from the Rio Grande border. I can confirm this...

It's crystal clear what must be taken down: Enemy of The People

They want / NEED us divided. They want us looking at each other rather than at THEM.

They are the equivalent of Axis Sally, Tokyo Rose and Lord Haw Haw.
