A little update on the italian front:
for the past few days many cities have been continuosly protesting. The one that started all of it was Trieste, in the far north-east, at the border with Croatia.
A group of dock workers decided to oppose the Green Pass and stop working until the law would be abolished for every single worker. Now this is not a great request since even if such a thing were to happen, everything else would stay exactly the same. But it definetely would slow down the implementation process of this horrible instrument.
The protest has been 100% peaceful and unsurpisingly the police attacked the protesters with clubs, water spray and tear gas. Now this is the Italian police, so they did a shitty job, but the act was still unjustifiable, almost reminiscent of Tienanmen Square. The protest is still going on, people haven't left the place and they are organizing to camp out there and occupy the dock. The media is shamelessly baldface lying and making up numbers. But more and more people are waking up to the fact that this is not about Covid anymore. We know it never was, but many others are just realizing it now.
It's also curious to see that the big cities are not fighting as hard, if at all. While smaller, though more productive cities, are rising up. The dock workers of Trieste managed to get a meeting with some ministers on Oct 23rd, whereas before it was set for Oct 30th (same day as G20). I'm not yet positive about what the outcome is going to be, but these people are fighting back, and I honestly wouldn't have expected that.
