If we are going to risk the lives of perfectly healthy children to "protect" them against something they are at no risk for simply to appease the fears of irrational adults, isn't this the very definition of child sacrifice?

While I wouldnt state it that way and agree there are many problems here, what is the best way forward? No FDA? More limited FDA? What is the impact on drs and pharmacists of this? Should Drs be across every piece of medical research in detail or have medication/dose/use guideline to work (mostly) within? Should drs be able to prescribe untested medicines, and does the pharmacist (who is more trained in chemistry and drugs than drs) have any liability/responsibility is inappropriate drugs are used under prescription?

(Strawman warning) do you want Drs to be able to prescribe whatever they choose (within patient informed consent) and the pharmacist must dispense the medication regardless of any concerns?

For posterity: UK Conservative gov budget today. Middle classes left absolutely adrift. No increase for pensioners - despite historical data showing this demographic always sees an increase in death-rate with a winter season combined with increased fuel costs. Nothing to help with the hardship increase brought about by the National Insurance increase to "help fund the NHS". No mention of *WHY* the National Health Service costs are "increasing". The causes for this are too controversial to mention, of course. Guess which class got the big breaks.

"Build Back Better" isn't actually the UK gov's plan, it's the World Economic Forum's plan. When the UK gov is working to the W.E.F's plan, and to these budget restraints, then of course there's no room to help the middle classes or elderly.

INFLATION IS A MONETARY PHENOMENON. It's created by GOVERNMENTS AND CENTRAL BANKS. It's not created by THE ECONOMY. Which private owners and shareowners actually control our central banks?

Every passing year, I am more sure I am not a leftist but I am more and more a socialist. The only way the libertarian free-market wet dream could become a reality is if, magically, all these oligarchs were suddenly put in prison.

All I can say is ACCELERATE. More lies. More rhetoric. Please

Understanding Unapproved Use of Approved Drugs "Off Label" | FDA
From the FDA perspective, once the FDA approves a drug, healthcare providers generally may prescribe the drug for an unapproved use when they judge that it is medically appropriate for their patient.

This was a good read. I Have Been Through This Before
On gurus, bullshit, and their crushing effects.

Finally, the vaccines came and they seemed, at first, to be a miracle. But still there were certain things you weren’t allowed to discuss, like side effects, transmissibility, and natural immunity. The shots were immaculate and all-powerful! Then suddenly … they were not. Vaccinations were undone by the unvaccinated; they couldn’t save the faithful because of the sinful. And the drug alone wasn’t enough. True believers wore a mask as well and those who did not were causing the cure to fail.

Whatever the experts said on television became reality, became “science.” Meanwhile people died and died and died and just as the ongoing tragedy of autism of a child was somehow the mother’s fault, over and over again, doctors and officials blamed their audience of 3 billion for the disease. The more the cures failed, the greater the fault of the public. The flaw was never in the remedy, but in those who failed to “behave” and thereby brought the plague upon themselves.

Artificially adding dollars to an economy via inflation doesn't have anything to do with the character of the new dollars, either. It just creates a big problem for everyone. This is probably the biggest straw man applied to people with conservative immigration views. I don't hate the immigrants. I think a lot of them are probably better people than many Americans who are already living here. But that just isn't the heart of the problem at all.

This is a really, really bad idea. Groups of people with candy colored hair would be legally attacking normal people every day for being "nazis". If you argue that normal people would just fight back, then what you have isn't a functioning society, it's a chaotic civil war.

Because those people can just come to New York. And they do. I live on Long Island, and work in a traffic court. We don't inquire about anyone's immigration status, but there are a TON of hispanic people coming through every day who don't speak a word of english. They have to keep a number of spanish interpreters on staff to call on in the courts. It's almost like there are more convenient ways of travel now, and people can cross the country much more quickly and easily than in the past.
I get your point, but I don't think you got mine.
When I talked about thieves and psychos I was referring to the government, not the immigrantals.
My comment was obviously hypothetical since in reality we have to deal with governments and boarders and all of that.
But in another, more sane, reality, these things do not exist, only thieves and psychos exist. They've just existed for so long that we created a fairytail around it and call it a State.
Think about it, 330 million people are following the orders of one elderly sick man and his psycho friends.
When I talked about communities I meant, again, in a "stateless" world. You would still have "boarders" probably, but communities would create based on personal preference and a free market. So all the progressive "anti-fascists" could just have their own little piece of land, if they can work hard enough to get one. If they wanna be psychos and try to attack other communities, those communities would noe have the freedom to defend themselves however they wanted.
But I'm going too far into this anarcocapitalist concept.
I just don't see boarders or immigrants, only people.
As you said, there are bad, crazy, evil people on each side of the road, it doesn't matter.
Your own government is one of the most evil entities ever. So I wouldn't really care about some spanish speaking guy from Mexico selling a bunch of weed or stealing some food or whatever.

A LOT more parents than you think do not love their children. They had them for pretty much every reason you can think of other than love.
