We still have some holdouts who will not use them because of the many negative effects they bring.
Most people eventually decided the advantages are greater than the risks.

The survival of the F*deral R*serve's juggernaut on the world did not depend on the destruction of email or cell phones. In fact, email/cell phones helped seal the deal.

I can't tell you owning or consistently using crypto is the best choice for yourself, but I can tell you it is something you should know how to use and be comfortable using if you need to.

If I were a tyrannical government, here's how I would destroy BTC in 6 months:

I would leak the names / addresses of BTC millionaires (there are over 100,000 currently) to...shall we say..."partners". You know, like MS13, for example. Those guys are very effective in the physical world where BTC owners actually exist, despite their claims. Lock-step control...just like right now...and the usual players will look the other way.

All the big tech and media would be in on the take down. Just like Event 201, the terrifying, Hollywood directed pieces about the gruesome, multi-million dollar BTC "robberies" would be queued and ready to roll 24/7. The "safe, secure and insured" digital alternative would look pretty damned good to the people. BTC will crash. Game over. GAME OVER. It's child's play.

Hell, there really doesn't even have to be any real robberies. With the lockstep control and a little help from Hollywood, they will create this reality at very little cost. Hopefully, they won't insult us with Jan 6 incompetence and get a decent director and actors...like a modern day Stanley Kubrick. ;-) But, they will purposefully insult us with idiocracy again.

BTC is a direct threat to the F*deral R*serve and its debt-based currency. Therefore, BTC has a big, shiny, very violent target on its back. What do you think our military has been doing since 1971? Protecting the Petro D*llar, of course. Didn't Gaddafi try to create a Gold-backed currency for Africa? These people don't play games. BTC is on their schedule.

They are corralling people into the BTC pasture. They will eventually slam the gate closed by causing a BTC crash and declaring it "dangerous". Why, look what happened to these greedy men's family members. Only way out of BTC is on their benevolent terms and into their new digital currency cage. People who fail to get out before the crash will lose their asses as punishment for betting against the F*deral R*serve.

After the last 2 years, all aware people should see that the above scenario is at least possible if not probable. The fact that BTC has been embraced by the corporations tells me...without a doubt...this is a classic pump and dump.

A prudent man would only play with BTC he can afford to lose. And whatever you do, do NOT be a whale or even a shark. Get that target off your family and get that BTC into some real assets.

We are engaged in a 5th generation war between the bankers and the people right now. It's not a gun war. It's bio, psychological and economic warfare.

Only when we win this war can a BTC have a real future. But, practically speaking, we'll have to see who the next prison warden is.

If I have between keeping btc and watching it crash, or using a new type of CBDC forced on me during a new crisis, I will gladly go broke with my bitcoins. Just like I am gladly not falling for the vaccine enforcement even if it means I can't live like a regular person.
And millions of people are not falling for it either.
Trying to violently stop bitcoin will only make its users want to use it more. It could crash, yes. A lot of people don't care about the technology, they just want to sell it at a higher price, so they will give up. But the nerds who believe in this, will keep using it because they know how to without being controlled by the government. They don't really care about the price. They own bitcoin for scenarios just like the one you describe, because it would allow them to create their own separate economy. And once people see that Bitcoin isn't actually dead, they will slowly go back to it. There's always a way.

They might remove it. But they always leave a clause. Like if the "R" number ( whatever the fuck this imaginary R really represents) goes above a certain level they will bring back restrictions.

Why are BLM and AntiFa unafraid of the guns? Because their values match with those who are armed, while our values are diametrically opposed. Also, BLM and AntiFa do not need to live within society to survive, but we've set ourselves up to need their society to survive.

The "man like this" should have a means of survival that allows him to ignore the masking and vaccinating without fear of what to do next, he should have a means of pulling his daughter out if that school and paying as little as possible in tax the moment they muzzled his daughter, but he/we doesn't.

Those truckers for whatever reason were more angry at the forced vexxination than afraid of losing their livelihoods and being banished from "society" - I propose that it's because they have alternative means of survival, apart from that stable [office] job.

It seems less futile to withdraw from the society than keep trying to "change" it at such great personal risk and cost, but maybe I'm missing how much of that "quality" American society remains (forgive me, I grew up in an urban suburb of a huge East Coast Blue Hive).
