If you remember, the country was divided on the first gulf war...that is, until that young lady's testimony:

Like the Gulf of Tonkin incident of the Vietnam War, this testimony galvanized the country behind the invasion of Iraq.

    Later, we learn the truth...

Remember, the Obama administration later legalized government propaganda. So, now it's even worse: EVERYTHING we see now is a potential lie and it's a legal service provided by our government.

How many of our wars have been justified to the American people by lies?
    All of them.

So when the "Biden" administration wants to go to war someplace, you'll know what question to ask.

We missed an important discussion point: Covid: TSA will not enforce mask mandate on public transit after court ruling

The CDC mask mandate has been overruled by a judge in Florida. The TSA can no longer enforce it, and United, Delta, Alaska Airlines, and AMTRAK announced they would drop their requirements immediately. Other airlines dropped the requirement without an announcement.

Therefore, if you wore the mask, and then took it off when you were given permission to do so by the government when a legal technicality was revealed, you were merely obeying the rules which had nothing to do with biology and everything to do with authority. In doing so, you proved your reliability. You are the people the government needs, and whatever happens next is your fault. Enjoy that.

It appears we are already engaged in a war, with full support from the state media and a bunch of stupid Americans who have no idea what this means for us.

Remember when illegal aliens were referred to as "illegal aliens," and not "undocumented migrants?"

Changing the language is right out of Alinsky's playbook. It helps soften people's already weak minds for further exploitation.

Long answer is that it’s called critical thinking, they are generally posted because they provide an alternative viewpoint to what we get. Having more points of view, especially well reasoned points of view based on logical principles and consequences allows you to have a more nuanced and deepened opinion.

For example the number of civilian deaths in Mariupol. If you watched CNN you’d have a single data point that “tens of thousands” were dead, so 20,000 to 100,000 which is a pretty big range.
If you took in alternative view points that disputed that, using logical principles such as similar warfare killed X civilians in Y days. You’d have another side to the story, and you’d have a lower and upper bound to the number of civilian deaths. Then you’d be able to reason through asking questions such as “how are they dying” “who benefits from increased casualties” “what factors are in play that will increase/decrease” deaths “how likely are these factors to actually affect numbers” etc.
This allows you to have a deeper and more well reasoned opinion about the issue. It may even lead you to the real question of critical thinking which is “Do I care about this enough to affect my thoughts/actions?”
I don’t really believe you’ll understand this but it might be helpful for someone else reading.
I commend you for your patience, but you are correct, he will not understand it.

By simply considering and judging alternative sources of information, those who use critical thinking in this environment do more journalism for themselves than most journalists do in their entire lives. For raw sources, or sources with questionable agendas, you have no choice but to use your brain. There are probably some people reading this thread who don't do that, and will just swallow whatever they want whole, but so what? If this forum tried to hold the hand of every dumb ass who might be reading it, it would become boring as hell and everyone would stop reading it and go somewhere else. The horde of dumb asses will always exist, and any "democracy" where they are treated like valuable civic participants will degenerate and eventually collapse.

Of course, there is such a thing as source credibility, but it has to be earned. Take Denninger, for example. He never simply reports anything, but always provides you with an argument to support his conclusions. When I started reading him, I would check to see if he pulled this or that fact out of his ass, but after time passes and you realize he doesn't do that, you do, in fact, put some trust in him. The MSM, on the other hand, just feeds you and expects you to trust that everything they say is well reasoned and verified behind their secretive curtain. What's worse, there are countless verifiable examples of bald face lying and manipulation. If Denninger did that even once, I'd never trust him again. But I'm supposed to keep trusting the MSM, lie after lie, because they are the anointed high priests of information? Fuck that.

Sometimes it’s undocumented worker, which is more misleading because it assumes they are working (and implies they pay taxes like social security and Medicare which they don’t get).

And, don’t forget rioters and looters being described as protestors.

Does anyone else find it highly entertaining that a homeless African American migrant is taking strides to restore free speech, bring more advanced electric vehicles to market than Ford or GM, has created thousands of jobs, not to mention the advancements he brought to rocket science, and paid more income taxes than any American ever last ($11 billion), yet the Leftists absolutely abhor him.

Despicable, and hypocritical of them, but not really surprising.

Elon Musk is doing good work.

Of course no one in the MSM mentioned the irony of it, and the old fuck had the best treatment he could get, apparently.
Has every prime minister/president who advocated for vaccines/vaccine passports got covid?
Last year everyone got the flu. This year everyone gets a cold.
