It should be increasingly obvious to everyone that there will be no political solution. That's been true for a while, but now it looks like they aren't even going to bother opening the psychological pressure release valve anymore.

Further evidence of the guy's success is he barely won the first time around, with a .4% lead. This time, nearly a 20% lead. He actually won people over based on his first term performance. A lot of them. That is NOT something that happens often for politicians. Yeah, the GOP establishment is getting behind the guy, because they know his coattails are the only thing they can hope to ride to any semblance of power in the foreseeable future. What they need to do though, is emulate what has made him a success, not merely try and hitch themselves onto him.
Did Desantis win by implementing voter integrity measures?
... or did they prefer to let Desantis win by refusing to send the judicial, media, financial and secret police branches of government after him when he implemented voter integrity measures?

From the article I linked fact checking the claim that a dead politician has been elected to office:
“While we’re incredibly saddened by the loss of Representative Tony DeLuca, we are proud to see the voters to continue to show their confidence in him and his commitment to Democratic values by re-electing him posthumously,”
When dead people can be elected by other dead people, democracy is alive and well!
    Equity for all!

"Openly dead," that has a ring to it.

Maybe we can vote JFK or Reagan back to office now?

Fetterman is a placeholder for his wife Gisele, and those who voted for him intend this. She is his mediator and handler. Like Biden.

Tucker briefly alluded to this. Looked a bit closer, and I find it plausible.

So, we've had a nice autumn Indian Summer (can we still say that?) here in Northern Michigan. 72 degrees and sunny yesterday, but 20s and snow tomorrow.

I suppose the local news won't be blathering on about global warming for another 6 months or so...

And, the Fettermans seem like a nice cozy family.

Competence was completely irrelevant in this election, from the beginning. The democrats voted for what they knew and loved - comfort.

So the result is not surprising, in hindsight. Because there are more dems than repubs in PA, and I think they voted along party lines. Tucker and others played up Fetterman’s dis-abilities. But given past voter behavior, that was not a sober assessment. The dems weren’t watching Fox, so Fox was pandering to the audience. Tucker could’ve easily found his way to: “Hey, there are more registered D’s than R’s in PA, and the D’s care most about the Fetterman feelz. It’s no longer about the economy, Stupid! Election probably won’t go to Oz.” The communication needed to be more direct and more directed at the D’s, from a higher level: “Hear ye, This is how Rome fell.”

This Katie Hobbs bitch is something else. She's in charge of securing a fair election in Arizona, while running against an unbeatable candidate aka Kari Lake. Refuses to debate or campaign, or recuse, and somehow is running a close race?

Voting machines not working again or returning incorrect results. Can't keep up with counting ballots? These pieces of shit learned their gane well from Whitmer/Soros in Michigan.

I have loathed Sam Bankman-Fried and his cronies for a while. They are prototypically horrible people who accumulated vast undeserved wealth while producing nothing of lasting value. This is the template they follow:

    * Perform a dance (guided by rich parents) to get into an elite university. SBF’s parents are both Stanford law professors. Even though this is hard work, it instills the poisonous idea that life and achievements are just a charade.

    * Coast through university without actually learning anything or struggling to improve. Listen to Caroline Ellison, SBF’s gal pal / coworker, explain that networking is more important than classes.

    * Use the degree as window dressing for the stupid bullshit that actually goes on at work. Ms. Ellison, with her Stanford math degree, describes how she uses only elementary school calculations.

    * Take loads of amphetamines to seem like a "genius", at least to venture capitalists. FTX explicitly instructed their new hires on how to do this. SBF and Caroline were very open about using.

    * Disregard physical training and even baseline physical appearance. SBF is just gross, has apparently never lifted a weight, and is fat despite constantly mainlining Emsam. No, he's not just "working hard." His disconnect with physical reality seems to reinforce a belief in useless, overly abstract, convoluted propositions - like trading derivatives of pointless shitcoins.

It's a recipe for creating phony sociopaths. It's almost unsurprising that SBF talked loudly about being altruistic with his $15B while committing some of the biggest financial crimes in history.
