But it's not magic. Still, anything you do to become more dangerous incrementally increases the likelihood that you live.
The best violence of action at 74 is violently running away from a fight.

Good description. I’ll add anytime I hear things like “kill in 10-20 seconds” and even “[because of its lethality] should only be used as a last resort” I know what the score is.

That said, if you’re saying what I think, I completely agree that a “style” is only as good as your propensity for violence. And violence is not easy. “Styles” don’t win on their own, yet so many are deluded about this.

    Same with a gun.

Sometimes the fight finds you, and sometimes you can't run away. I don't care if you're seven or seventy-four... being better prepared is always relative to where you were before, and I would never deny someone the dignity of self defense by any means. Or deride them for trying.

Plus, how the hell is a seventy-four year old supposed to run away from anyone?

Pretty much. By any means or measure, training will only ever incrementally improve your chances of survival. The odds are never 100%. It's all important, and it all takes a lifetime to master. Proficiency in a few key areas, strength, and having made the decision well ahead of time that you will take a life to prevent something more horrible is a good start.

Aggression can trained. I was lucky to be in the Marines back when they still believed in letting us beat the crap out of each other to get good at violence. Bootcamp did a lot for the mental aspect too.

While the Australian populace is distracted with a pointless and costly referendum on Indigenous Australians' 'Voice to Parliament", the fuckers at the Dept of Health are sneaking in a public consultation on:

    1. the negotiation of a new international legal instrument on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response, and

    2. targeted changes to the International Health Regulations (2005) (IHR) through the World Health Organization (WHO).

    Submissions close 17 Sept.

Why don't they just get it over with and dissolve the legislature and the courts, and set up a good old-fashioned dictatorship? The only reason I can think of is that it would deprive the Australian People of the opportunity to voluntarily display their obedience to tyranny, a skill they have honed.

What you'll find is that the large majority of county law enforcement in the vast majority of US states will not enforce a blatant 2nd Amendment violation like this. They know who elected them.

This is interesting from Elon: https://twitter.com/libsoftiktok/sta...34236940386788

BREAKING: Elon suggests he will release all the data relating to the ADL and other organizations pushing to censor and silence X accounts

We need a full list of which organizations pushed for censorship and which accounts were affected!

He would probably not make it, but I think he stands a better chance trying to run away than trying to fight. Maybe try to hit the assailant in the balls before he runs away.

I think shooting the assailant is the best option.

It is getting that way here in America. We are almost to the point of just keeping up appearances of liberty and freedom.
