    See any problems here?

    testing.csv
This file includes counts of New York City residents with specimens collected for SARS-CoV-2 testing by day, the subsets who tested positive as confirmed COVID-19 cases, were ever hospitalized, and who died, as of the date of extraction from the NYC Health Department's disease surveillance database. For each date of extraction, results for all specimen collection dates are appended to the bottom of the dataset. Lags between specimen collection date and report dates of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths can be assessed by comparing counts for the same specimen collection date across multiple data extract dates.

    tests-by-zcta.csv
This file includes the cumulative count of New York City residents by ZIP code who:

Were ever tested for COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2)
Tested positive The cumulative counts are as of the date of extraction from the NYC Health Department's disease surveillance database.

Calling for a living wage, universal healthcare, etc as a way to deal with the corona virus is a lazy argument. The fact that you advocate these kind of things means you don't have a fact-based opinion in the first place. You don't know enough about what you're talking about to deserve being taken seriously. I just responded in kind.

Here is a link to the audiobook, for free.

The options clearly favor shutting the state down. This is of course from the position of a politician, and not a leader who makes fact-based decisions that are in the best interest of those he is serving.
    Great summary here

You know what's funny? I was sharing the Iceland article on social media earlier today (in an effort to try and raise awareness), and pretty much nobody wanted to listen to it. Even funnier, it was getting the label of 'fake news'. Anyways, CNN recently put their own version out. I wonder if people will pay that any attention. Probably not, it doesn't have death in the title. Iceland lab testing suggests 50% of coronavirus cases are asymptomatic - CNN

America is obsessed with death and murder. It can be seen in all of the serial killer documentaries on Netflix. Advertising knows this, and the media knows this. They know how to sell news and create sensation because that's what drives their viewership and makes them money. High mortality rates (that already existed) are all the general population care about. Everything else is just too boring to actually be news and therefore, even considered. It's interesting that the 'fake' news everyone keeps brushing off is all based in establishing the facts. Because the facts aren't known. Still, people keep trying to post 'facts' and as evidence turns up that dismantles those 'facts' it's just disregarded.

That's alright, common sense ain't common.

It's obvious why social distancing and the quarantine was so quick to take off, the general public are really just sheep ready to be herded and told where to go and what to believe in. Want to challenge that? Just look at any group setting of 30 and watch how many leaders step forward. Want to challenge how often the majority is wrong? Well, I know at one point the majority believed the Earth flat. At another point, the majority believed Caucasians were superior to all other ethnic groups. Moving forward, the majority believed the housing market was stable and could never possibly crash. Are we seeing a trend yet people?

    Wake the fuck up, people.

Why is attention from the Wuhan virus still not being directed towards the Chinese communists?

Even on this board, the Italians have claimed the Chinese are their friends in this crisis. Do we forget the withholding of antibiotics and medical supplies? Do we forget the distribution of 100,000 faulty tests in the EU? The export of the virus itself? The precedent for lockdown measures?

Isn't it time we stop bickering about how many shiny, new socialist programs can be created or how wonderful the increase in citizen tracking will be? Is it really important to count up the precise fear index number or net deaths needed to justify the imposition of these policies?

If you believe the virus is extremely deadly and you live trembling in isolated fear, remember WuHan. If you believe the virus is relatively innocuous, but the panic-response has taken your job and destroyed the economy, remember WuHan. If you are Chinese and you notice your quality of life dropping, remember WuHan.

When I die it will be without hair. Therefore baldness was a contributing factor in my death. If you don’t believe me start looking at the statistics of how many people are bald when they die. I think you will find the results startlingly apocalyptic...

And to think. Dems were all concerned about disinformation being spread by the rooskies by way of Facebook for the 2016 election. It seems some bots have infected SS as well. Some very strong investment in disaster on parade by some of the posters here.

    starting strength coach development program
Florida just issued a statewide 30 day stay at home order to start tomorrow night. 6,741 cases and 81 deaths per JHU. For the life of me I can't figure out how Florida isn't the epicenter of the whole thing between 6 cruise ship ports, 3 international airports and Disney World. The hospitality industry is in shambles already and many small businesses from Restaurants to Soccer coaches will never recover. This senseless over compensation has got to stop.
