    Good ol’ pin firing. Love it. Thankfully I've not yet had to try this method, but I'm glad to know it works so effectively should I ever need to call on it.

    I used the pin firing method about a year ago, and my god is it painful as all hell. But it worked.

    What an amazing difference narrowing the grip (during the squat) has made!

    Now just need to figure out how to keep the bar at low back, with my new narrow grip.

    Thanks for this article, and the inclusion of tempo bench. When I was training at the YMCA I had a place where I could do chins; now that I train at home I do not -- my ceiling is barely over 7' in the basement. After adjusting my squat grip and a few sessions of tempo bench press, my elbows already feel better and without the constant NSAID dosing.
