Panic buying has cleared out the everclear. Fortunately, I bought well before this situation.

Now, what is the simple solution for those of us who prefer a much heavier beer than we can find commercially?

Learn to make beer. Fun and relatively easy. That's why I started brewing back about 1990.

Hey Rip I’ve been brewing for about 4 years. Do you still brew pretty regularly? All grain or extract?

I stopped about 20 years ago when I moved into my new house with pretty severe water restrictions. Brewing, as you know, is very consumptive of water, and I just don't have it to waste on making beer when the beer market has provided so many options.

My wife thinks we drilled the water well for her flowers... ha!

All grain here with occasional small extract batch (1-2 gal) on the stove top when I want try out a new hop in a simple SMASH beer.
I've got two 5 gallon batches fermenting now, my Quarantine Ales: a German ale similar to an altbier but lighter in color and hopefully a Two Hearted clone
    Cheers! Prosit! Salud!
