Default Doing one exercise per session

Now that I'm putting together a home gym (slow because equipment manufacturers are super backed up), I wanted to know whether there's a downside to doing just one exercise to completion at a time? I'm doing a split 4 work-out cycle, Texas Method program. Suppose I went down to my garage and did my 5 sets of 5 squats (with the usual rest periords) for my volume day, went back to my daily stuff, and then came back later in the day to do my heavy deadlift set of 5. Will putting several hours between exercises hurt my progress significantly or should I just suck it up and do my entire day's work-out in one session? The total volume and intensity would still be the same either way.

This would make my work-outs easier to work into my day (often at home but with frequent phone calls, meetings, and virtual sessions with patients and also multiple face-to-face visits where I leave the house).

    Thanks in advance!

It won't matter that much. Just do what you can to get it all in.

Thanks Mark. I'll get it all in but it'll fit easier into my workflow.
