Not in gyms. Only in some shops.

I can sit in a bar without one though.

While I find the use of clear mesh masks both clever and funny, I bought a black one and a sparkly on instead. Since it is difficult to tell from a distance that the black ones and nobody that isn't spotting me should be near me, they accomplish my goal or working out without being bothered while doing so. If someone asks after I finished my set about the sparkly one, I don't mind saying that a child gave it to me. If someone bothers me about the mask while lifting, I will have a different and far less polite response.

For a one off activity, the clear ones sound great, but I don't believe that someone working out everyday will be allowed to use them for very long. Gyms in NY were closed for almost 6 months and there is still some level of review by our government overlords going on. When boxing, I am not required to wear a mask and nobody seems to mind if a mask slips down while lifting. So, my approach is to feign compliance instead of flaunting noncompliance.
