Have you not realized how fragile people's belief systems are in this year?
How many contradictions are being thrown around?
They'll believe anything that helps them get through the day, without questioning it or, god forbid, go against it.
If they say vaccinated people can still get or transmit the virus, people will believe they are not safe and other people are a danger. Because not believing so would be a much harder task and cause them trouble.
At the same time they won't question why we would need a vaccine which is called "effective" but for which there is no clear effect.
They don't know if it prevents infection.
They don't know if it provides long term immunity.
They don't know if it prevents transmission.
They do know at least 70% of us need to take it before 2021 ends.
They will do whatever is necessary to get there. New laws, vaccine passports, work passports, social discrimination for those who don't take it, aggressive fear porn, manipulation of the statistics.
They can do this shit everytime they want, as long as the majority of people believe it.
They have spent months establishing the "better safe than sorry" mentality in our populations, using every possible scenario, plausible or not, as an excuse to keep this going and keeping people in a constant flight mode. When you escape a predator, anything can make sense as long as it helps you keep running away and you don't use long term memory.
If anyone can convince me of the contrary, please do.
Mr. Horgan definetely reinforced my conviction.
(Sorry, if the post is too long I'll cut it)
