    These articles allegedly by Starr seem to be what this guy is directly lifting from, except some of what Starr says is contradicting what Alexander says.

    I'll have to say I haven't read these articles. The last one doesn't apply, but it appears that Bill did write the first one. He was wrong, but he did write it, so I stand corrected.

    He wrote different things at different points (see The Olympic-Style Press or Strength Training for Throwers), but favored the inclines as a better because they were closer to the press.

    Since we both press and bench press around here, the issue is moot.
