I've got a 135 lb Pyrenees that decides whether anyone gets on to my rural property. He's an excellent judge of human character as we ran a bed and breakfast for 3 years and all our guests loved him. But we've had a few unsavory characters drive up our driveway and he won't let them out of their car, including a guy with a u haul behind his truck likely looking for a remote home with no one in it so as to rob them blind. They normally turn right around or wait in their cars until I come out.
Our cat is pretty useful too as he leaves a pile of rodent guts by our front door almost every morning Kind of gross to clean up every day though...
