Rip, have you ever had deviled crabs? I grew up on them in Tampa, not sure if they're a thing in Texas. Way better than crab cakes. Used to could get 'em for $.50 a piece, we'd get paler bags full of 'em. Add a little hot sauce and it's a full meal.

Best ones in Tampa are from Brocato's. Best, literally, on the planet. Second best are from Carmine's in Ybor City.
