I agree with Frank that the right person may be able to help him, but that can be tough to find. Looks won't be enough to point to a really competent person with a deep knowledge of this stuff. Eva Margolies used to practice in NYC and wrote a book that may be on interest to the OP: Undressing the American Male: Men with Sexual Problems and What Women Can Do to Help Them.

Also, shot in the dark, but are you on finasteride? It was recently prescribed to me for early male pattern baldness, but I haven't been able to bring myself to take the first dose. Erectile and ejaculatory issues are sometimes attributed to the drug - although there are varying viewpoints out there regarding where we're looking at direct causation or correlation. I don't have sufficient background in the sciences to make an argument either way, but I thought it would be worth mentioning. Finasteride 1mg is commonly prescribed as a generic or under brand name Propecia for androgenic alopecia and the 5mg dose Proscar for enlarged prostate.

DO NOT take that first dose! I was on Finasteride for approx a year. I stopped because I started noticing side effects (loss of interest in sex, trouble having an orgasm, ED). Things got a little better when I got off it, but I’m not the same. I was going to mention this in my original post, but most people think Post Finasteride Syndrome is a delusional disorder/psychogenic illness.

I know nothing about this beyond my own experience, but I am kind of surprised no one has asked the OP about the sequence of events leading up to intercourse. What are you guys doing leading up to that point? I know when I was in my 20s I could look at a funny shaped stick and get a mountain in my pants and have to go run and hide. These days it isn't happening until I physically get touched. Have you tried having your lady friend give you a BJ first? The pre intercourse BJ would be the acid test I would think. BJ then go. If that doesn't work then like the others said, I think it's probably time to talk to a sex therapist.

That's one of Ms. Margolies' talking points in her book. She runs through a bunch of Masters & Johnsons strategies that may benefit the OP.

Re: Finasteride, thanks to everyone who shared their views. I don't want to hijack this thread from Buddy, but no question there's an internet rabbit hole out there on this very topic with reasonable conclusions that can be drawn from multiple perspectives.

I’m surprised at all the responses to this thread and I’m thankful to all of the people who have responded. I was going to just put “Erectile Dysfunction” into the title, but thought “Penis Implants” would get more attention. I just purchased the book. Like a previous poster said. I’m going to move heaven and earth before anybody cuts my crank. I just hope I can find the right people to help me.

There is definitely something to Finasteride. This website may help some people who have experienced adverse reactions to the drug

Lets just make sure everyone knows what Finasteride (and similar 5a reductase drugs) does here: it destroys the conversion of test into DiHydroTestopsterone (DHT), which is a very important male hormone for male life. Keeping a full head of hair like some half-a-fag politician (yes, a lot of those fruitcakes destroy their DHT coversion in order to maintain their hairline) isn't that important. If it is very important for your ego - maybe you're a TV weatherman or something - look into minoxidil, which is just a topical, or microneedling which is nonhormonal but may cause natural hair growth on your head. The dude at More Plates More Dates is obsessed with this shit and has a bunch of videos on it.

But don't trash your DHT. You need that shit. You don't really need a full head of hair. Especially if you have traps. And aren't a fat piece of shit. Read Rip's article on aesthetics.

Look, sociological studies are mostly absolute bullshit. However, one of the most widely documented phenomena, confirmed by dozens of those studies, is that women find men with shaved heads more attractive. I guess it can be a problem if you have one of those skull and neck combinations that make the back of your head look like you were hit with a shovel, but if that’s the case, your hairline is the least of your worries.

Here's a summary of what others have said along with my own input, in an order that I recommend following. The idea is to remove a drug that might be causing the problem before adding new ones or increasing the dose of others.

Step 1: Get off of Finasteride to see if you get back to normal, it's well known to kill boners

Step 2: Get on more T, as Rip suggested, especially if you have high estrogen symptoms (sensitive nipples, water retention, moodiness)

Step 3: Try daily Cialis - if you get heart burn, lower the dose

Step 4: If you have an enlarged prostate (peeing multiple times per night, trouble emptying your bladder, weak stream) try flomax - it helps with that and wood strength - lots of guys stack this purely for bedroom performance

If your free test is at 40ng/dl+, you're on daily Cialis and flomax, and you're not on Finasteride, you should be performing like a college kid.

This level of performance should help you get over any anxiety. If you still have trouble, hire a sex therapist, ideally a tantric one.

Lastly, don't settle for women that lack enthusiasm or don't spend as much time taking care of themselves as you do. If the dating pool is that weak near you, you may need to start traveling and/or picking up new hobbies. If you can't attract the caliber of woman that excites you, you may need to invest in making yourself more desirable - and I'm not referring to aesthetics.
