Taranenko’s figure was finally eclipsed. Initially given 2 reds, Lasha’s lift was passed and became official.

Snatched 225kg prior to the 267kg too.

All three records are now his.

My question for you Rip: could he lift even more if he had abs?

Is it because it was to promote potato chips and he wasn’t going to attempt it until they offered him cash and he thought, “Fuck it, I’ll have a go”?

The 225kg snatch is ridiculous. Slight adjustment then just stands up.

I still prefer Ilya doing 246kg at 105 BW like it’s nothing. He’d have gone up to 105+ if they’d just left him alone.
