No one else seems to have mentioned it so thought I’d bring it up.

Taranenko’s figure was finally eclipsed. Initially given 2 reds, Lasha’s lift was passed and became official.

Snatched 225kg prior to the 267kg too.

All three records are now his.

My question for you Rip: could he lift even more if he had abs?

Think about how ungodly strong he'd be if he did, trap bar deadlifts ... uh, douche pulls.

    I prefer Taranenko’s 266 and I don’t know why.

Yeah, but Lasha is a fat guy. I would be more impressed with a guy weighing 72 kilos who lifting 150, this would in fact be stronger than the world record in relative terms.

I think this is the dumbest thing you've said on this forum.

Is it because it was to promote potato chips and he wasn’t going to attempt it until they offered him cash and he thought, “Fuck it, I’ll have a go”?

The 225kg snatch is ridiculous. Slight adjustment then just stands up.

I still prefer Ilya doing 246kg at 105 BW like it’s nothing. He’d have gone up to 105+ if they’d just left him alone.

I mean, I guess a joke is bad if you have to explain it, and it’s not the best joke I had in my life, but I take offense that this would be the dumbest thing I said in the forum, there are far dumber ones.

I won't respect his lifts until he starts wearing an Alekseyev singlet.
