Here I amÖ Reading this two hours before I train, acting like a pussy because I have a hangover. Guess Iíll stop with the bullshit and go train after reading this. Fucking hell, Barry, thatís one wild ride! Good luck to you, man. Very inspirational.

Nice work Barry! Get the press up though, your shirt is kind of loose in the shoulders.

I knew part of your story, but the details are humbling and inspiring. Well done in persevering through the worst kind of adversity.

    Barry,

I'm glad you found a group of doctors who supported you, and appreciated your work under the bar.

My story is a bit different in severity, but cancer is cancer. The doctors at the cancer center where I received my treatments were aghast that I wanted to do anything more than walk from the couch to the bathroom. Two years have passed, and the doctors are still not on board with my weight training. It's too much for a senior citizen; their words.

I'm sure my recovery would have been markedly different had I not been in peak condition when the treatment shit show started.

Best wishes for a complete recovery...
