Yes, I think I might have had Trader Joe all wrong.

...In October 2007, amid customer concerns, Trader Joe's began to phase out foods imported from China, and from February to April 2008, Trader Joe's phased out single-ingredient products from China because of customer concerns...

Butter, you idiot. Maybe olive oil, with Cavender's Greek Seasoning and parmesan cheese. Is olive oil allowed?

“Idiot” is a little harsh, Rip. Moron, I can accept, but idiot? C’mon, man!

Well I was only talking about the popping part. I can figure out putting butter on the popped corn. But did Rip call me an idiot because he thought I didn’t know you’d put butter on popped corn, or because he thinks it’s obvious I should use butter rather than oil to actually pop the corn? I am holding out hope that I am not an idiot.

Smyth, imbecile, the butter goes ON the popcorn. I have popped it in butter before, but it gets a little brown. You can pop in olive oil and dress in either butter or olive oil. Better olive oil is very good on popcorn. Avocados are for Californians.

With respect, Rip, no shit the butter goes ON the popcorn. I don’t believe I posted anything suggesting otherwise. We were talking, I believed, about what to pop the corn IN rather than vegetable oil. A different imbecile brought up butter, not me.

If you put a dash of olive oil, enough to just coat the sufrace of the pan, and then add butter, it doesn't brown.
