If you haven’t already done so, I would suggest you look into Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for anxiety. You can probably buy a book, and/or just learn the breathing method. There are also apps for your phone that will talk you through it. They teach a method of breathing that reduces arousal, slowing the heart rate etc. Because anxiety is self-perpetuating (you anticipate a situation, heart rate, breathing goes up, adrenalin increases, heart rate and breathing increase etc). The breathing serves the purpose of reducing that process. When I worked in a behavioral medicine clinic, we had clients do this for 10 minutes, twice a day. It was very effective. Even though I'm a psychoanalyst now, I always suggest my anxious clients use this model. Good luck.

When the testosterone levels are outside of the so-called normal range and in a healthy optimal range all parameters of health will improve. I am attacked online by many because of these very statements. They will say "he doesn't know the long-term harm he's causing with those testosterone levels " or "nobody needs testosterone levels two times the normal range." My response is always from a clinical standpoint and now doing this for almost 2 decades that when every parameter of health that I can measure improves when men have testosterone levels in an optimal range, what would be the long-term harm? I don't see every parameter of health improving with lower levels or with mainstream medical treatment, but I do with hormone optimization combined with nutrition and exercise.

And on a personal note I gave up forums a year or two ago because of the personal attacks and the fact that most men cannot understand and will not follow evidence based medicine.
What I have found with the starting strength population is that they are mature and highly intelligent and embrace evidence based medicine.
Correct. 60 ng/dl. I started experimenting with higher dosages when I read the studies behind the reference range. They represent the levels in the average population of current times. They are a mere statistic, not a diagnostic tool. It is also what the researchers stated, if people, including doctors, would actually read the study themselves instead of letting someone tell them what it says.

You are absolutely right that you don't waste your time on these TRT forums. These people just want to conform and follow, as we've learned most people do. They also respond better to fear porn than actual relevant research and logic.

I have been using the cream for almost 2 years, starting at age 38. Dr. Nichols is my doctor, I have never felt better and do not experience any peaks or valleys. He recommends splitting my dose evenly between morning and night.
    • Give yourself enough time to dry after a shower in the morning or at night before applying.
    • If you’re going to be intimate with your partner, be sure to wait to apply it or apply it several hours beforehand
    • Shave the area you apply to.
    • Wait several hours before entering water
    • My only negative side effect has been mild acne mostly on my back and shoulders.

Thank you for the feedback. It is very much appreciated and I’m so glad you are having success now. The reason I do what I do every day is because I get to hear and read the very things you have written. Thank you again

It's appropriate to recognize Coach Rip for driving this topic (and the "angle" in which he takes in doing so) and the good Doctors Wittmer and Nichols for graciously sharing their professional knowledge/experience on this subject. I think I speak for many of us here in saying: Thank you all for your service.

Thanks for this. I ended up with the injectable cypionate as my wife couldn’t get past the transfer “risk” with us having young kids. I tried to explain I wasn’t an idiot and could follow basic hygiene instructions but no dice.

I am using a half inch insulin needle on a daily basis. Seems very straightforward so far and not a big deal although I appreciate some people are funny with needles.
