Whether you believe or not in anthropic global warming is going to make little difference. An incredibly powerful machine is rolling, and will change your life in a matter of a few years. Starting asking what price you are willing to pay.
If the answer is "Any price", good on you.
If the answer is "I don't want to be reduced to poverty", get ready for bad news.
Having said that, everyone's definition of poverty is different, so start asking what's yours.

So, the "Canadian Wild Fire" smoke is smothering the entire state of Michigan again today. It's pretty bad where I'm at, eyes burning and breathing feels heavy.

It's supposed to be near 100 degrees for the next few days. Can't open the windows to cool off at night.

I guess maybe they're "smoking out" the climate change deniers and getting lots more people on the crazy train at the same time?

This shit makes zero sense to me. Don't the useful idiots realize this climate mania will adversely affect their children and grandchildren, or they just don't gaf?

Also, the US Army is conducting flight simulations over Lake Michigan again this week. Maybe they could use those C130s to dump some water on the fires instead of doing air shows or whatever they're doing up there.

The Great Lakes are the largest source of fresh water on the planet, and just across the border from the wildfires. I'm pretty sure if "they" wanted to put out the fires, it could be done in a day.

You are using logic to come up with a reasonable solution for something orchestrated to look random and chaotic. It's not gonna work. People don't care about that. They are instructed to listen and believe what they are told based on how they feel. They feel scared, becuse of ignorance, so they believe when they are told this is the apocalypse. And nothing else matters to them because, well, you can't stop chaos.

This is gonna be the next covid, but the media will brainwash people for a few years before the politicians are sure that they'll get on board with any decision. They did the same with flu viruses for years before covid. All this media craze about "extreme, frequent and violent" climate events will increase to the point people will take it as a perpetual problem, and then some big scary thing is gonna happen and here we go with the totalitarianism, financial bubbles and economic collapse once again, as more people get poor and desperate and more easily beaten into obedience.

And everybody believes it anyway, to the extent that they are handing the management of the world's economy to elderly megalomaniacs with an agenda based on their own personal power. You're not even allowed to question it -- otherwise sensible people have agreed with the ridiculous premise that CO2 is a deadly poison that must be eliminated from the surface of the earth. Every August, everybody runs around like it's not supposed to be hot. Every time there's a drought, everybody acts like it's the very first time it's been dry too long. "Hurricane season" started in June, and how many hurricanes have devastated the coastlines already inundated by the molten ice caps? How many times over the past 20 years of this shit have the hurricane predictions been correct? This is a classic example of a pseudoscience, exactly like astrology. It's not falsifiable, and it has predicted nothing correctly. And in classic leftist fashion, anyone who disagrees is guilty of "The Pseudoscience of Climate Denialism."

Really, the children are in charge now, seeking validation for "caring about the planet," running around yelling about "carbon" -- the 4th most abundant element in the physical universe --being a deadly poison. Their managers are common criminals whose entire agenda is money and control, and we are letting it happen. It is the result of the shitty science education we received in the government schools, and it probably cannot be stopped.

I usually like to try and analyze current events through a historical lens, and the current climate hysteria reminds me somewhat of the Catholic Church's selling of "indulgences" in the Middle Ages. They convinced religiously-minded folk that in order to assuage their sins of the present and have a utopian afterlife or future, they could simply pay money to the Church. In much the same way, those who ascribe to modern leftist mythology have been convinced by the modern authorities that they are inherently sinful by contributing to carbon emissions, but that they can absolve their sins and help bring forth a better future simply by paying money to those very same people in authority.
