Humm, I have Starting Strength 1, 2, 3, and PPST3. Since I'm an old 57 intermediate, I'm wondering if I should buy The Barbell Prescription. Is it more for novice over 40 types, or is it good for intermediate and advanced?

Mid-50s intermediate here. BBRx is on the top of the stack and is almost always the first book I grab when I have, or want to answer, a question. You will learn something (or three).

At the risk of sounding like a cheapskate, is there a significant difference between the 2nd revision and the current (4th?) revision of the 3rd edition of the Blue Book?

Would we have spent money laying out and printing a insignificant revision of the book?

I figured you do that because there’s a market for more book sales, and you take the printing opportunity to revise or correct a few things, major or minor.

People who do not own the book already don't know about the revisions. Doesn't affect sales.
