    Little is surely not the same as none.

    I don’t think that an inability to compete successfully in both OP and BP was what Chase’s quote was about.

    Frankly though I’d love to hear someone else who can OP 405 lbs opine on this topic.

    I know. That 405 still amazes me. And the humility about it.
    The best part was after the meet Rip had Chase on to discuss, and Chase described it along these lines
    (I am paraphrasing but it's close because I remember the line well):
    CHASE: "People ask me how it felt. I ask them what they can press and they say 150.
    I ask them how 150 feels. They say heavy. Well, the 405 felt the same - heavy."

    Clarified everything, its always going to feel heavy so get used to it. Great line.

    Yep, and it puts the credibility of his opinion on upper body strength training in a unique class (along with him being a coach).

    Sad to admit, for Chase, him overhead pressing what I deadlift would feel light.
