When are the combines?
I am currently doing starting Strength M-W-F but I now need to add work in to prepare for upcoming football combines. I need to work on these events:
-40 yard dash
-20 yard shuttle
-Vertical Jump
-broad Jump
How can I add thoes events into my SS training? I was thinking about a 40 day for overall speed, an agility day, and a jumping day, but I dont want to stop making gains on SS. Thanks
When are the combines?
I think the first one I am going to is in the middle of May. Around the 17th. I think I'm going to wait until I stop making gains on Starting Strength then I'll go into a routine more for combine training. Also, I just got SS 1st edition, 100 pages in one night! Thanks
I certainly wouldn't worry about that now, or even until April. Just get as strong as you can till then, and there will be lots of time to get specific in the month before the combine.
