It wasn't Clinton's folly which led to the refugee wave to Italy. It was the Serbian military produced ethnic cleansing.

I mean, sure. I can tell you, however, that people in the old country donít hold grudges against the Serbs to this day.

But, thatís the story of the Albanians and Italy. Back to the grub.

Yeah, let's not dwell on people killing each other. Albania has very strong business ties with Italy. Italian companies dominate the markets by government decree and so on.

Looks like a fine lunch, Rip, but I suspect a few Brits may quibble with some of what's on the plate and some of what's not.

To the left of the plate, are those cornichons (little gherkins) and do I see sliced carrot? If so, well, cornichons are a bitÖ French, and I'm not sure I've ever seen carrots in a ploughman's.

I trust there was mustard somewhere to hand? Or piccalilli? And an apple (Cox or other in-season English variety) always works nicely with a ploughman's.

Mustard was available, and now you have seen carrots in a ploughman's.

Brits quibble about everything. It's kind of why they are Brits so it's not gonna matter anyway.
