Will it be available for order, or even pre-order, before Christmas?

Looks like it will be just after the Yuletide. Shitty timing, I know.

Buy your friends/family copies of SS, PP, or SE for Christmas instead to set them on the right road for training. I bought four more copies of SS for friends. Surrounding yourself with knowledgeable people on the same program as you will push all of you to new levels.

I just got SS first edition as an early X-mas gift. I am almost done and was wondering, is it really worth it/a must to get the 2nd edition?

We don't like to pre-sell until the order is actually at the printer due to the likelihood of a fuck-up. When it gets to the printer, we'll make an announcement of the pre-sell. And I don't know why you bought the 1st edition. It is dated and not nearly as useful as BBT. That's why a 2nd edition is usually done.
