    What make and model of scales do they use in the competitions for weighing plates? Certified calibrated?

    Smokey, is that a typo or do all fourteen of your four lowest sizes all really weigh identically at four tenths of a pound?

    Yup, every fractional plate weighed in at .4 pounds, from 1 pound and under.
