Help! Has anyone had any experience with this?? I have calcific patella tendonitis on my left knee. I have tried physio shock wave therapy with no improvement. I 've still been squatting sometimes the pain is just too bad to go heavy. Nobody can give me solution...just wondering if I keep working on my squat form ?? Maybe it will eventually heal. Appreciate Any advice thanks !

Calcific tendonitis in the quadriceps is relatively rare. If present usually associated with enthesopathy (look up on Google).

Is the calcium in the quad or in the patellar tendon?

Shockwave therapy reported as "better" than sham therapy......meaning not much.

What imaging have you had so far?

The calcium is seen at the left quad tendon insertion. I had an ultrasound done and x ray. Findings of the calcium were from the ultrasound .
