    Default pre-workout suppliment

    • starting strength seminar february 2023
    • starting strength seminar april 2023
    • starting strength seminar june 2023
    Can you recommend a pre-workout supplement, with strength gain a primary goal and fat loss secondary? I'm fighting to get under 20% bf and feel like I'm at a sticky point (I try to keep telling myself its just a temporary plateau as long as I keep to my macros). I saw one post about Yohimbine HCL, but thought I'd ask a more generalized question. Something available over on bb.com would be convenient.

    I like scivation Novem, dymatize xpand, and similar for PWO supps at the moment. Yohimbine HCl is pretty legit too.

    I actually free base DMAA from bulk powder I get from China. I reconstitute it in bacteriostatic water and inject it Sub Q.

    What are you thoughts on the antioxidants in the pre/intra drinks? I know a lot of people don't like them..

    800mg of caffeine and 24mg of ephedrine will put some jump into your step.

    I find that they don't do much, except for CLA and r-ALA.

    seems like overkill. especially if you've never used this combo before, 200c/16e moving up to 200/24 and eventually 300/24 should do you fine.

    I actually don't find ephedrine that useful at all, although I know a bunch of people that do. Caffeine, on the other hand, responds well in a dose-dependent fashion depending on your tolerance.

    50/50 coffee/milk is my pre-breakfast workout friend. Slurp between every set.

    That and kids asking me repeatedly when I'll be done and out of the basement so they can use the xbox -- keeps me moving along.
