Safe to store protein in a broken container.

Hey guys, Jordan.

I bushed the boat out a little a bought some quite expensive protein the other day, it came in a 2.5kilo bag, with a little zip at the top to keep the protein air tight. While attempting to undo the bag to get the protein out, I managed to rip the bag down the side, do now there is a big gaping hole down the side of the bag, obviously where the air can get at the protein.

Will that degrade the stuff if I just leave it like that? I'm strong it in a cool dry place. Thank you for entertaining this, as always it is appreciated.

I'd be more concerned about a spider crawling in there or something, but I don't think it'll go bad. I'd just buy one of those tupperware things that people used to put cereal in and seal it there. For the spider's sake.
