I jumped on the air dyne today and after a couple of minutes my erectors around my thoracic region were cramping up. Has anyone had this happen and what's a good way to fix it? I roll my back everyday before you say it.

I have it happen from volume day squatting, and then I usually roll the back but also go over the glutes with a lacrosse ball. I find this usually helps a lot better than only rolling the back. If you get any other tips I'll gladly try them for myself, too, because a cramping lower back can be a real bitch.

I'm not being facetious here, but maybe you should try not rolling your back every day.

Yeah at work after lots of sweating and digging out the wet pretreatment sump. Only half way through a 12 hour shift so couldn't do anything about it.

I've done the middle ground too. Doesn't work either. I thought someone might have a good technique for loosening up the erectors.

The only thing I've done (as it happens at work only) is hang from a high bar and let myself hang as loose as I can to stretch my back out

    Thanks. I'll try that out.
