    There's also the fact that your lifts would be progressing slower than if you trained 3x a week. Therefore, the rate at which you need to gain weight would be less.

    At least, this is my line of thinking.

    I'm certainly not an expert on nutrition, but this 2x vs 3x vs 5x a week nutrition stuff seems bogus.

    These are the only relevant metrics:
    1. Are you getting stronger from your training, is it working?
    2. Are you gaining weight, is the weight gain at the correct pace?
