Hey all.

So I tore my pec quite badly around the end of November. As I write this today the injury feels more or less completely healed, I have always had full range of motion with my arm.

Since the tear, I have decided to only bench lighter weights, and instead focus on the press as the primary lift to really push for greatness. This is because there is a dent in my chest right where the pec meets the humorous, and I don't want to deal with another tear for the sake of the bench press.

I was wondering if dips would be considered a safe exercise for someone like me, I have done them with pretty heavy weights in the past, and I think they would be nice to do since I won't be benching. I was also thinking about throwing in Skull crushers (French press I believe some call them) as well, to give the triceps a little bit more work.

I have had no x-rays, mri's of the area I injured, all I know is it feels strong and pain-free currently.

Thank you in advance for any advice,

Matt.
