If you sleep on your side you definitely do not want firm or extra firm. I made that mistake. Soft is better here and memory foam changed my life once I switched over to that. How much are you looking to spend?
In the market for a new bed. Looked at some of the old threads, they are 6-7 years old. Looking for firm/extra firm. Stomach/side sleeper with back issues. Any recommendations? Thoughts on hybrids? Don't want a pillowtop and nervous about a memory foam. Let's hear your thoughts and recommendations. Thanks

Side and stomach sleeper and I do absolutely prefer a firm mattress. I’ve had several memory foam mattresses over the last 15 years. The best one by far that I’ve had is the brand “Yoga Bed”
I just got a king sized leesa and i gotta say this is the perfect mattress for lifters.
My previous mattress was probably too soft and I’m far less achy on the more supportive leesa. It has a top layer that feels like an inch or so of soft material and underneath its very supportive.
