Easy stovetop steak and rice meal prep. Requires a big ass pot and pan.
approx. 3meals for 3days:
*5lbs of 90/10 ground beef
*2 green peppers 1 onion, chopped
*3-4oz worchestershire sauce
*Dab of olive oil
32oz arborio rice
1 tablespoon butter
——
1)Sautée peppers and onions in large pan/wok
2)Add beef & worchestershire sauce
3)Cook on medium until brown ~20mins,
stir occasionally
4)Drain the fat (this makes it more like 95% lean)
1)Bring the rice to a boil with ~8 cups of water (or broth)
2)then cook on low for 15-20 Mins until it looks the way you want
3) add broth and water and cook longer if you want it fluffier. Arborio rice is fucking amazing.
Put the beef in a big container and the rice in another. You can portion it into smaller containers as well.
Reheating is easy:
1)Put the beef on the rice and nuke it for 3:30-4mins.
2) add broth or steak sauce and stir well. I don’t like it soupy so I just add a bit of whole food’s steak sauce and stir.
I’ve been eating 2-3 of these meals daily for the last 16 months and I love it every time. Obviously this is only part of my diet, but it’s the staple and its easy!
