    Default Raw Oats? Popcorn?

    Two quick questions:
    1- Are raw rolled oats OK in a smoothie? Any reason they wouldn't be? I need the easy carbs and fiber. Would raw instant oats be better?

    2- Would you consider popcorn a good easy complex carb snack? From the nutrition label (buddha bowl) it appears to be so.

    Yes to both. Fresh popcorn that comes in a jar is the way to go. Less fat and salt and you can manually season it yourself.

    How healthy is the toffee coated kind ;-) that's the one for me.

    If you have a coffee grinder you can easily make oat flour out of raw oats. Oat flour mixes very well in smoothies.
