Theres a lot of benefit to training besides numbers...neural, cellular, etc., etc...especially counteracting insulin resistance...your maintaining health, bone , muscle and nerve...wait to you go to high school reunion and see the people that don't workout....you also say you have a bad back that spasms..thats concerning and would definitely interfere with lower body progress...most of the benefits of training you cant see..but it will keep you functional years even decades more than if you didn't do it
