Default Fixing my diet to aid in NLP

Just starting SS and got through my first week. I am 31 years old, 225lbs, and if I had to guess between 25-30% BF. How should I go about tackling my diet. I was thinking 200g protein, 150g carbs, and not worrying too much about fat as I plain to eat "clean". Is this a good starting point or is that too low of calories to progress well with the program. Being at such a high BF% i'm honestly not sure what to do since I want to get stronger but also feel it would be healthy to get my BF% down.

In that case i'd like to see 250 g/d carbohydrate at a bare minimum. Your body will recompose with more weight on the bar. How strong are you?

Not strong at all. Did week 2 day 1 of SS NLP yesterday here are my numbers:

    Squat: 115 x 3 x 5
    Bench: 140 x 3 x 5
    Deadlift: 180 x 3 x 5

I've lost approx. 50 lbs in the past 18 months but with no exercise. Have never done any real training in my life either. I'm not sure what my BF% is but I was just at my primary and was told my BMI was 29.1

I would also like to ask, if it isn't too much trouble, are there any other supplements I should consider taking besides protein power?

Thank you for your knowledge and time.

Take some creatine monohydrate and ramp up those carbohydrates. You need to get stronger and I can assure you that your body will recompose itself as you do. I wouldn't lose any weight I would just see how much you can put on the bar without gaining much more...at least for now.
