    Age/Sex: 35/male
    Height: 5ft 3in
    Training history: 6 months
    Current weight and BF% estimate: 132 lbs, 21.8%
    Current calorie and macro totals: ~ 2400 kcal

    Hi Dr. Santana,
    I am recently trying to eat properly for the NLP (months ago it was ~ 1400 kcal). But not really sure if my targets are correct for my height. I am starting to hit 160g of protein, 275 g of carbs and 68 g of fat. It is quite hard to eat more protein without feeling heavy all the time. If I supplement with egg protein powder (and hitting 190g) just before bed would it make a difference? I now that your articles mentions 200g of protein and at least 3000 kcal, I was wondering if that proportion applies in my case.

    This are my records:
    Squat: 206 lbs
    Press: 93 lbs
    Bench Press: 123 lbs
    Deadlift 220 lbs
    * Progression at 1 lbs/per session
    * Train after 6:00pm

    I really appreciate any advice on this.

    Yes it still applies, perhaps 2500 calories at the very least. 1400 is not acceptable though. If your lifts stagnate, you'll need to add and will likely end up at 3000 if it gets heavy enough.
