    Default BP Meds and Recovery

I am 63 and a little over a month ago I was placed on meds for high blood pressure. Since then I have noticed a little bit more fatigue and my recovery seems to take longer.

The meds are working and the doctor says he has never heard of this before but each person is unique, and suggested I give my body a little more time to adjust to the medication.

Have you heard of this before? Is it something I just need to push through? Any advice.

"Unusual tiredness or weakness" and "weakness or heaviness in the legs" are known side effects that you are supposed to report to your doctor immediately. It could also lead to muscle breakdown. I am more concerned that he has never heard of these side effects before given that they are listed on the label.
