    Default Hitting a plateau

Hello, I weigh 196 pounds and I seem to be hitting a plateau for my lifts. This is what I知 lifting for a set of 5 reps.

    Deadlift 365
    Squat 345
    Bench 255
    Press 165

I知 eating about 3,000 calories a day and about 210 grams of protein. I tried the Texas method and this was my first week and I just barely made these weights but I felt like I don稚 know if my weights will be going to go up a week from now. I知 getting enough sleep and I知 resting between sets for my volume and rest days. I don稚 know if I should increase my calories and by how much but I don稚 want to gain weight too fast and not get stronger. Any insights would be appreciated! Thanks.

Did you deload your pre TM weights when starting TM? Squat and DL are too close too, what's going on there?

Sorry what do you mean by deload your pre TM weights? I started with volume day at my 90% of my finishing 3x5 for the squats. And I知 not sure why my squat and deadlifts are so close. I just have never been able to really deadlift very much compared to my squat.

Just for completeness, did you finish the novice linear progression?

I知 not sure what you mean by deload. I知 not really sure what痴 going on with my deadlift and squat. My squat has always been close to as heavy as my deadlift.

You are not supposed to "pick up where you left off" on the LP. This is explicitly stated in the Grey Book and on this board. You need to reset the weight so that what happened to you does not happen.

I think your deadlift is under-trained or your back is never recovered enough from squatting.
