I have zero posts on the SS forums, not 25, so not sure if this will get posted. But thought I would try since it's not a program- or nutrition-related question.

I just finished reading The Bridge. I understand it was written for an audience that doesn't necessarily care to look into studies, but I was still disappointed that the claims being made didn't have any references to the studies that supposedly supported them. (Especially since there seemed to be an attempt to counter claims made in the Barbell Prescription, a hefty book with... quite a few references. Not to mention the combined experience of the authors in coaching the aging population.)

In short, I'm questioning a number of the claims/theories/methods that were proposed in this article. I'd like to get a better understanding of how they were developed, which is difficult to do without knowing the sources from which they were derived. Are those listed anywhere? Or could you send me the list please?

    Thank you.

They are not listed and we didn't want to spend the time to cite the works that no one was going to read anyway. Interestingly, if one was to use a little google-fu, it'd be very easy to locate references to the information we made.
