Hi Karl,
I’m 5 weeks into the novice program. My weight went up 2kg in the first 3 weeks but has since plateaued. I plan on following the program as it’s written in the book until I can no longer make session to session increases on the lifts.
I’m a male who’s 23 with a height of 6’2” at a starting weight of 79.1kg.
My question to you is what would be a reasonable weekly increase in body weight in order to sustain linear increases and prevent premature stagnation?
Thanks.

how can you be 6-2, and 79.1 ?
we're mericans here,
now I gotta go do kg maths
174
My calculator has a button that lets me translate kg. I pressed the button, and it said "EAT MORE."
Up to 81.6 (or 180.1) now.
I eat 3 good meals every day + a couple of snacks and 2 litres (1/2 gallon) or so of milk. Not sure how it would be practical to eat more than that unless I just guzzle milk all day or force feed myself until I throw up which would be stupid.
Try five meals. Do you want to be strong? You'll get it done. We're all rooting for you!
Look, at 6'2", you should be at least 220.
I probably need to start batch cooking then. Trouble is I don’t feel hungry enough to eat another two meals per day. It might work if I have 4 for a bit and then 5. I’ll experiment!
I think I speak for everyone on this board when I say “I wish I was you” eat eat eat and eat some more!!!
Hey Richard, for those who have trouble gaining weight, I'm convinced that the eating is just about as difficult as the not-eating is for those who put on weight easily.
I'm not a hard gainer, but I'm trying to push my muscle mass up a bit, and it's 11:30pm and I have 888 calories to eat. Nothing is enticing, and eating is the last thing I want to do.
