Sacramento lodging

Can anyone recommend a good place to stay in Sacramento? The hotels closest to the seminar location have... colorful reviews.

The Larkspur Landing is close to the location (5-10 minutes depending on time of day) and nice. That is the only one i can comment on specifically (i've stayed there).

The Residence Inn on Howe Ave i've heard is decent. It's pretty close also.

I'll look around and get some more options up in a day or two.
