The Walmart in Wichita Falls has now made it to the national news twice, this time for a woman who wouldn’t pay for a cake because she only ate half of it. I was sure this would be a Florida Man story when I saw the headline and was surprised to see Wichita Falls as the location. Is there something about that Walmart in particular, are the police in Wichita Falls just particularly no-nonsense, or is this some bizarre viral marketing?
There are 3 Walmarts in WF. These incidents took place in 2 different stores, as I understand it. These types of incidents only take place here in The Falls, of course, and we're looking forward to the NY Daily News opening a bureau downtown. They could own the WF Times Record News for about $300, and that would accomplish several good things.
