Deadlift Programming Help
I’m 21, 6’1”, weigh 217, and I’ve recently switched to a four day split after finishing LP. Squat @ 370 3x5, Bench 195 @ 3x5, Press 145 @ 3x5, and Deadlift 455 @ 1x5.
I can’t add weight once a week anymore to my deadlift. Should I switch to alternating halting deadlifts and rack pulls or should I change rep schemes to 2x3 then 3x2 and then 5x1?
I’ve tried to switch to 2x3 @ 460 lbs and I can get the first set but even after resting 10 minutes I can’t even get the first rep on the second set. How long should I rest between sets?
