I am 4 workouts into my starting strength journey and my knees ( right below the knee cap) are aching pretty bad. Once I get warmed up I can make it through the workout just fine but the next day and the day after I continue ache until I warm up again. I started at a relatively light weight ( 250 lbs 3x5 squat and DL) and continue to add weight each workout while really trying to dial in proper form. Are these just growing pains? Will I adapt? Is it prudent to back off or should I press on?
