If I have three days off should I train day 1 and 3 as prescribed or should I do something on day 2 knowing I’ll be gone for another four days?

With this schedule you cant really do the program as prescribed but you can still definitely get stronger. You can do Workout A on Day 1 and then Workout B on day 3. Or you split up the movements and do 2 movements each day for 3 days. Its really up to you and how well you can recover.
