Phase 2 chin-ups addition
Hello Mr. Rippetoe,
I am approaching Phase 2 and I would like to ask what could be the consequences of adding chin-ups after the power cleans right away?
In the book it says "After two or three more weeks, chin-ups can be added as the only really useful assistance exercise at this point in the program. You might decide to add three sets of chins after your power cleans, and stay with this program for as many months as possible."
I would like to chin after power cleans as much time as I am able to, but I wouldn't want to compromise power clean for or whatever consequence would be associated with adding chin ups too early, so please help me understand.
